Born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, I am married to Tammy (a fellow Realtor), I have a step-son (Alex) and three dogs (two labs and a Jack Russell). My wife and I have restored an 1813 Federal Style home in the town of Accomac.  I describe myself as being a second generation realtor.  I received my salesman license in 1986 and my broker's license in 1990.  After graduating from St. Andrews Presbyterian College in 1987, I started working in the family business.  In 1988, I started a real estate appraisal company (Atlantic Appraisal Company, Eastern Shore, Inc.).  In 1995, due to my father's health problems, I moved the appraisal company in with the real estate company.  In 1997, I purchased my father's company and in that same year, I merged my appraisal company with the real estate company running under the Mason-Davis name.  In 1999, I took the title insurance portion of the business into a full service closing/escrow agency.  In 2000, the title insurance portion of the company was branched off to form what is now Accomack Title & Settlement, Inc. www.accomacktitle.com.   I am the past board member and past president of the Eastern Shore Association of Realtors®.  I am currently a board member of the Virginia Association of Realtors.

I am a "come here" that has stayed here!  My husband, children and I arrived here from the Philadelphia area 14 years ago.  We chose the Eastern Shore of Virginia for the water, the land and most importantly the people.

I arrived on the shore having worked for a number of years as an oncology nurse.  My undergraduate degree is from Boston University and my graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.  I began my real estate career upon arriving here.  I was very fortunate to come to work at Mason-Davis, the oldest family owned real estate firm on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.  This company has been a pleasure to work at, with its strong adherence to the REALTOR® code of ethics and the placing of the clients and their needs first.  Both are ideals with which I am in complete alliance.  I have worked hard for all the clients that I have had the good fortune to represent, both as buyers and sellers.

I work full time at WEICHERT, REALTORS
® - Mason-Davis  as the Managing Broker.  I am the vice-president of the Exmore Rotary,  President of the Eastern Shore Real Estate Association, serve on a work group for the Virginia Association of Realtors, serve on the local hospital Auxiliary as the financial person and this year have the honor of co-chairing the Charity Ball the second year.

The Eastern Shore of Virginia is the place to visit, enjoy and to make your home.

I was born and raised on Virginia's Eastern Shore.  After graduating from Mary Washington College, I returned to the Eastern Shore and taught high school English.

In 1983 I became a licensed realtor and joined the team at Mason-Davis Co., Inc. I received my real estate broker license in 1989.  Although I am not related to the "Mason's" of Mason-Davis Co., Inc., I have enjoyed being a member of the Mason-Davis Co., Inc. team for over 20 years.

In my spare time I enjoy horse back riding, kayaking, traveling and reading.  However, I am very content to sit on my porch watching birds and enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature, in this little piece of paradise I am happy to call home.

I became a Real Estate Sales Associate in 1980 in Baltimore Maryland.  I also worked in Anne Arundel County  Maryland and then in Ocean City Maryland and the surrounding counties.

I joined Mason-Davis in March of 2004 . Mason-Davis became a Weichert affiliate in April 2008. I am an Associate Broker and the Office Manager.   This company and its reputation are very important to me.  I work hard and I enjoy being a REALTOR®.  I am also licensed with Century 21 New Horizon In Ocean City Maryland.

On a personal note: My husband Randy and I bought our piece of the shore back in 1991 and we built our home in 1996 on a point of land on Holdens Creek just off the Pocomoke Sound in north Accomack County . We love to fish and crab.  We enjoy the slower pace here on the shore. We enjoy the wildlife and the waterviews.

We have 2 toy poodles:  Lacey and Desi, and a cat: Kittie.  Our dogs had 10 litters of pups.( 42 puppies!) We had to say goodbye to three of our poodles: Leia, Lucy, and Chocka who have gone to run and play in the clouds.  Puppy time was an exciting time around our house. I really miss having all those babies in the house.

Now my favorite past time is cruising. I love island  hopping! After cruising I am happy to get back to the shore, I love it here. The history, the charming old homes, the small towns, the waterfront communities, the crab shacks, the barrier islands, Chincoteague, Assateague, and Wachapreague.  The town of Accomac has more original colonials than Williamsburg.  Onancock (pronounced "o-NAN-cock" by locals means "foggy place") is a quaint bayside community with restaurants, a playhouse, an old movie theater, several art galleries, a  marina with boat ramps, and of course our real estate office on Market Street right across from the bakery..  If you have not had a chance to visit the eastern shore of Virginia, you should...you don't know what you are missing. I am so glad I took the "long way" home on a  weekend trip to Williamsburg many years ago, we found our piece of heaven on earth.

I'm what is referred to as a "native' or "local" which simply translated means, "I didn't come here, I'm from here." I must admit, though, there are many times I almost have to pull my "papers" out for proof. Since my rat terriers are registered UKC, I guess I'm registered ESVA. I'm pedigreed!!

All kidding aside, my heritage becomes more & more precious to me as I watch our changing world with all its technology. You know, some things should NEVER change.

We raised our son and 3 daughters on a farm. By the age of twelve, Jim was driving a tractor & the girls gathered the eggs from the hen house. Weekends were spent signing for clams, fishing, and swimming in the ocean off one of the barrier islands. Guess what? Some things Don't change!! Today my grandchildren are experiencing the same things, in the same places, in the same ways. What a heritage!!

Come, let a native show you the places where some things never change!

I arrived on the Eastern Shore after a life journey that includes moving around the country and around the world.  The wife of a career military officer our family has had the opportunity to live from the West Coast to the East Coast and overseas in Thailand, Indonesia, Germany (3 tours) and Korea.  Each of these moves allowed me to experience real estate in a very "real" way.

I have the typical "patchwork" resume of an Army wife and have worked as an RN, then returned to school for further education and since then I have worked as a program coordinator for a large genetics grant at Duke University and as a psychotherapist , currently working with an outpatient geriatric program.  I have five young adult children and four, soon to be five, grandchildren all of whom enjoy visits to the Shore.

I have lived on the Shore full time for almost 4 years and have enjoyed doing Real Estate and "learning" the Shore.  I not only have become a home owner here but have also become a partner in two local businesses.  I have learned, through my own experiences, many ways to help my clients as they look for all types of real estate.  I have been actively involved in a variety of community activities and supported charity events to benefit several worthwhile, local organizations.  These community connections have also served to benefit my clients.

My commitment to the Shore and service to my customers has made me a multi-million dollar seller since joining the Mason-Davis team and I look forward to the opportunity to continue to welcome new neighbors and friends to this great location where nature abounds.

I grew up in Virginia Beach and earned a B.S. degree at the University of Wyoming.  After owning a second home  here on the shore for 3 ½ years, my husband and I purchased a Victorian home in the waterfront village  of Harborton, where we operate a bed and breakfast.  Along with "Two" (our beagle), we host guests from around the world.  Prior to becoming a Realtor® in 2000, I lived and purchased real estate in various parts of the country.

As a result, I know the qualities that clients are looking for in a real estate agent and I work very hard to live up to the high expectations I set for myself.  I invite you to "Come Explore Virginia's Eastern Shore" with me.

I am an Eastern Shore native whose roots in the area extent back over 375 years. I came to real estate and Mason-Davis after decades of experience in the financial services industry.

Although I handle all types of property I prefers to specialize in waterfront homes and have an understandable special interest in those which are historical.

Whether you wish to list your property or are looking for your next home you should consider putting my years of professional experience listening to my clients to work for you.

I was born and raised in Maryland and spent most of my adult life in Colorado. My husband, 2 children and I moved to the

Eastern Shore of Virginia in 2005. We have found The Shore to be a great place for families and spend our free time enjoying the coast, whether at the beach or on the water.

I earned my real estate license in 2007 and joined Weichert Realtors Mason-Davis.  I've always had a passion for homes and architecture and my husband and I have worked on remodeling and home design projects for years. The Shore has so many unique properties and home styles varying from beach house to farmhouse. There's something here for everyone. Come and explore The Shore!

Born and raised on Eastern Long Island, NY, I worked many years in the family business, a gourmet deli and catering clambakes.  After college, Suffolk County Community College and Univ. Minnesota, Duluth, I was contacted to set up and become the bookkeeper for a new lumber company in town.  In addition, I was sent to trainings on building industry products.  Needless to say I am a do-it-yourselfer.

With my experience in the building industry, then coming to the Shore and seeing the architecture and craftsmanship in these old homes it is only natural I joined Weichert Realtors Mason-Davis.

I married in 1986 and have 3 grown sons.  We bought a home on the Eastern Shore in 2001, and my husband and I moved here full time in 2010.  I have volunteered for Hospice and Palliative Care of the Eastern Shore, and am a member of The Beekeepers Guild of the Eastern Shore.  I also enjoy gardening, photography, and DIY projects with my husband.  Mostly I just enjoy the nature and peacefulness of the Shore.
