Born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, I am married to Tammy (a fellow Realtor), I have a step-son (Alex) and two dogs (a lab named Dash and our newest addition is a Yorkie-Poo named Tilly). My wife and I have restored an 1813 Federal Style home in the town of Accomac. I describe myself as being a second generation realtor. I received my salesman license in 1986 and my broker's license in 1990. After graduating from St. Andrews Presbyterian College in 1987, I started working in the family business. In 1988, I started a real estate appraisal company (Atlantic Appraisal Company, Eastern Shore, Inc.). In 1995, due to my father's health problems, I moved the appraisal company in with the real estate company. In 1997, I purchased my father's company and in that same year, I merged my appraisal company with the real estate company running under the Mason-Davis name. In 1999, I took the title insurance portion of the business into a full service closing/escrow agency. In 2000, the title insurance portion of the company was branched off to form what is now Accomack Title & Settlement, Inc. www.accomacktitle.com. I am the past board member and past president of the Eastern Shore Association of Realtors®. I am past board member of the Virginia Association of Realtors.

I am a "come here" that has stayed here! My husband, children and I arrived here from the Philadelphia area 14 years ago. We chose the Eastern Shore of Virginia for the water, the land and most importantly the people.

I arrived on the shore having worked for a number of years as an oncology nurse. My undergraduate degree is from Boston University and my graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. I began my real estate career upon arriving here. I was very fortunate to come to work at Mason-Davis, the oldest family owned real estate firm on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. This company has been a pleasure to work at, with its strong adherence to the REALTOR® code of ethics and the placing of the clients and their needs first. Both are ideals with which I am in complete alliance. I have worked hard for all the clients that I have had the good fortune to represent, both as buyers and sellers.

I work full time at WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Mason-Davis as the Managing Broker. I am the vice-president of the Exmore Rotary, President of the Eastern Shore Real Estate Association, serve on a work group for the Virginia Association of Realtors, serve on the local hospital Auxiliary as the financial person and this year have the honor of co-chairing the Charity Ball the second year.

The Eastern Shore of Virginia is the place to visit, enjoy and to make your home.

I'm what is referred to as a "native' or "local" which simply translated means, "I didn't come here, I'm from here." I must admit, though, there are many times I almost have to pull my "papers" out for proof. Since my rat terriers are registered UKC, I guess I'm registered ESVA. I'm pedigreed!!

All kidding aside, my heritage becomes more & more precious to me as I watch our changing world with all its technology. You know, some things should NEVER change.

We raised our son and 3 daughters on a farm. By the age of twelve, Jim was driving a tractor & the girls gathered the eggs from the hen house. Weekends were spent signing for clams, fishing, and swimming in the ocean off one of the barrier islands. Guess what? Some things Don't change!! Today my grandchildren are experiencing the same things, in the same places, in the same ways. What a heritage!!

Come, let a native show you the places where some things never change!

I arrived on the Eastern Shore after a life journey that includes moving around the country and around the world.  The wife of a career military officer our family has had the opportunity to live from the West Coast to the East Coast and overseas in Thailand, Indonesia, Germany (3 tours) and Korea.  Each of these moves allowed me to experience real estate in a very "real" way.

I have the typical "patchwork" resume of an Army wife and have worked as an RN, and then returned to school for further education and since then I have worked as a program coordinator for a large genetics grant at Duke University and as a psychotherapist, currently working with an outpatient geriatric program.  I have five adult children and eight grandchildren all of whom enjoy visits to the Shore.

I have lived on the Shore full time for almost 14 years and have enjoyed doing Real Estate and "learning" the Shore.  I not only have become a home owner here but have also become a partner in two local businesses.  I have learned, through my own experiences, many ways to help my clients as they look for all types of real estate.  I have been actively involved in a variety of community activities and supported charity events to benefit several worthwhile, local organizations.  These community connections have also served to benefit my clients.

My commitment to the Shore and service to my customers has made me a multi-million dollar seller since joining the Mason-Davis team and I look forward to the opportunity to continue to welcome new neighbors and friends to this great location where nature abounds.

I grew up in Virginia Beach and earned a B.S. degree at the University of Wyoming.  After owning a second home  here on the shore for 3 ½ years, my husband and I purchased a Victorian home in the waterfront village  of Harborton, where we operate a bed and breakfast.  Along with "Two" (our beagle), we host guests from around the world.  Prior to becoming a Realtor® in 2000, I lived and purchased real estate in various parts of the country.

As a result, I know the qualities that clients are looking for in a real estate agent and I work very hard to live up to the high expectations I set for myself.  I invite you to "Come Explore Virginia's Eastern Shore" with me.

Greetings, my name is Tammy and I'm married to Andy-Principal Broker & Owner of the company.  We have a son named Alex, a granddaughter named Bethany, a lab named Dash and Yorkie-Poo named Tilly.  Tilly goes to work with me every day and is also the office mascot.

I moved to the Eastern Shore in 1985 after graduating from Ferrum College with B.S..  That same year I started my career with Shore Bank where I remained for 25 years.  I specialized in Residential and Commercial Lending.  The banking background has been very helpful in the Real Estate industry, with assisting buyers in finding the right lender. I received my Real Estate License in 2007 and in 2009 my Title Insurance License.

I decided to make some major changes in 2010 and came on board with Weichert Realtors Mason-Davis, which was the best decision.  We have a great team and support system in place. I have always enjoyed the thrill seeing someone find that perfect property, and now that I can be a part of that process there is no greater feeling.

Come and discover what the Eastern Shore has to offer and find your new home with me.

Born and raised on Eastern Long Island, NY, I worked many years in the family business, a gourmet deli and catering clambakes.  After college, Suffolk County Community College and Univ. Minnesota, Duluth, I was contacted to set up and become the bookkeeper for a new lumber company in town.  In addition, I was sent to trainings on building industry products.  Needless to say I am a do-it-yourselfer.

I married in 1986 and have 3 grown sons.  We bought a home on the Eastern Shore in 2001, and my husband and I moved here full time in 2010.

With my experience in the building industry, then coming to the Shore and seeing the architecture and craftsmanship in these old homes, it is only natural that I joined Weichert Realtors Mason-Davis. Wanting to become more involved, I joined the MLS Committee, and serve on the Board of The Eastern Shore Association of Realtors.

I also enjoy gardening, photography, and DIY projects with my husband.  Mostly I just enjoy the nature and peacefulness of the Shore.

"The Eastern Shore is wonderful."

I am originally from northern Florida.  My husband and I have been fortunate in getting to experience a lot of the east coast with our family, having lived in North Carolina, Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Quebec, Canada. We moved to the Shore in 2007. We continue to enjoy getting to know the people, communities, culture (Have you been to an oyster roast?), the great outdoors, and the fascinating history.

Before I became a Realtor, I was always in professions where service, knowledge, communication, and caring were key. I find the same is true working in Real Estate. Our clients and customers deserve the best service, knowledge and resources, communication and caring.

Locally, I also have the privilege of being involved with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia, Eastern Shore Unit, and the Ye Accawmacke Garden Club of the Eastern Shore.

I would be delighted to work with you if you want to market your home or property; or if you are seeking to buy a home or that special piece of land. I have chosen to work with Weichert, Realtors®, Mason-Davis because of their excellent reputation, knowledge, and friendliness. Seasoned or first time buyer or seller, we are here to help. It is a business that is here to serve you. Come by and see us! Oh, by the way, the star gazing is brilliant."

Born and raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, I relocated to Virginia Beach after graduating from Salisbury University.  I was fortunate enough to spend all of my adult years living in various regions of the beautiful Commonwealth of Virginia.  For the last 29 years I have lived in Accomack County, on Virginia’s Eastern Shore.  Together, my husband and I have enjoyed wonderful careers serving this community and raising our two children, just outside of Onancock.  The history, the water, the rural serenity, and the friendliness of the people are all factors that contributed to us choosing this area as our home.

Real Estate is my second career.  With over 30 years in the field of K-12 education, I hold a Ph. D. in Organizational Leadership.  Working in the public school system has involved collaboration with many of the Shore’s residents and business persons.  Having known Andy Mason for many years, I launched my career with his real estate course and affiliated with WEICHERT REALTORS Mason-Davis.  With Andy’s experience and knowledge of the real estate business, along with his positive nature, I am indeed fortunate to work for this company.

If you enjoy bird and wildlife watching, fishing, hunting, boating, gardening, or just relaxing, the Eastern Shore of Virginia is a perfect place to call home.  It will be my pleasure to help you with the sale or purchase of your property or home today.

I was born and raised in Florida and came to the Eastern Shore in 2014.  I am married to an engineer working with the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport and have one daughter, who teaches high school math.  I’ve spent the majority of my professional life as a paralegal working with clients of all walks of life.  I have Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Administration from Barry University in Miami, Florida.

I decided to get my real estate license because I wanted to become familiar with the Eastern Shore and be able to work with clients again.  In making that decision, I came to Weichert, Realtors® Mason-Davis for class and decided to join an experienced and reputable team.

Since my time here, I have met some nice people and volunteer my time where I can.  I would love to share my experiences with you whether you are interested in purchasing a vacation home or moving here permanently.  Let me show you the parts of the Shore that would meet your needs and experience your journey.

My name is Schuyler Van Vechten Hurlbut and I live in Northampton County where 5 generations are buried. I am a direct descendent of General Philip Schuyler, a leading general in the American Revolution. Supreme Court Justice Elijah Powell Hurlbut in Albany, NY was my great grand father. My mom was a professional opera singer and I am a musician too. My favorite instrument is my 1959 Fender Precession. Being a realtor is fun for me. I enjoy the challenge of matching people with properties and have made many life time friends selling real estate. The Eastern Shore is such a terrific place to breath and think and be alive. I would not consider moving off The Shore.

Serving the Upper, Middle, and Lower Eastern Shore of Virginia

Thirty years ago, I moved to the Eastern Shore with my husband Barney, who is an avid hunter. We lived in the town of Cape Charles and on Seaside in Northampton County before building our home near Exmore in Accomack County. We enjoyed raising our three children on the Shore and, with the exception of our Yorkies, Max and Chloe, are "empty nesters”.
Let me use my knowledge and experience, with the help of my team at Weichert, Realtors, to sell your house or find the home of your dreams. I promise to listen to your needs, wants, and concerns because I know your time is valuable; I will not waste it!
